The 107-year history of the company is certainly not paved with hastily taken decisions. In 1907, Alfred Dunhill opened his legendary tobacco store in Duke Street, London, but it was not until 1980 that the first cigars carried the name Dunhill on the ring. Nine years later, the Dunhill Aged line was created, and, not until 2001, the Signed Range. After 107 years, the company is now honoring the memory of its founder. The new series, manufactured in the Dominican Republic, will initially comprise four Vitolas, packed in simple, gallant boxes of 18. Two of the formats are completely new for the Dunhill family: the box-pressed Toro and the Rothschild. The wrappers come from Olancho San Agustin/Honduras; the remaining blend comes from the Dominican Republic (Binder: Olor; Filler: Olor Ligero & Seco; Piloto Cubano Seco & Ligero).
