CSWC Kuala Lumpur 2021 – A Repeat Winner

After a long stretch of Covid-19 lockdowns, Kuala Lumpur managed to sneak in a final qualifying event for the 2021 season with an event on Thursday 16 September.

After a long stretch of Covid-19 lockdowns, Kuala Lumpur managed to sneak in a final qualifying event for the 2021 season with an event on Thursday 16 September.

Mr Wilson Lim, who won the 2020 qualifying event with a time of 1:41:13, went back-to-back, setting a new Kuala Lumpur record of 2 hours, 22 minutes,32 seconds (142min,32sec). Mr Areeb Wahab came in second with a time of 113min,35sec and Mr Thiru Lacheman placed third with a time of 106min,15sec.

It was an honour for Trinidad Cigar Company to host the 3rd edition of KL’s CSWC Qualification round,” said Mr Hazely Harun. “Andreas Vogiatzakis was a fantastic judge and made it a fantastic evening. Congratulations to Wilson, Areeb, Thiru, and all our competitors. See you in 2022.”
