The new EMS stamp has now been released and is being applied to all UK Havana cigars within the duty paid market by Hunters & Frankau’s quality control department.
EMS stands for English Market Selection and has been used by Cuba for over a century as a method of classifying cigars. It has, in more recent years, been used by Hunters & Frankau as an easily identifiable mark of quality and authenticity for Havanas sold in the UK market. Each year a new colour is selected to be used for the EMS stamp.
All boxes and small packs that bear the stamp are guaranteed to:
– Come directly from Habanos S.A. in Cuba to Hunters & Frankau.
– Been shipped and stored by experts
– Passed a UK quality check
– Paid all UK Duties
– The correct UK health warnings.
