To cigar make cigar knowledge and certification available to all, Thomas Gryson and Ricardo Carioni have co-founded and launched The Cigar Academy.
Their booth at the 2024 PCA Expo in Las Vegas is situated directly beside the large Oliva pavilion; not by sheer happenstance, rather because they have the support of Oliva’s Fredrick Vandermarliere, who believes that this is what the world needs to further cigar knowledge and education. The Academy also have aligned themselves with other key company and key figures within the industry.
The Academy’s principal aim is to disseminate a high-quality and tiered level of education to those who seek to thoroughly understand the time-honored handcraft process of making fine cigars.
