Arsenova’s Grand Slam at CSWC in Kazakhstan

It was a remarkable night for Anastasya Arsenova when the Cigar Smoking World Championship qualifier was held in Kazakhstan. The second runner-up from last year’s grand final in Split made sure she’s one of the favorites when she crushed the competition and defended her title from last year. Her finishing time of 3 hours 24 minutes and 11 minutes was 23 minutes better than her time in Split and an impressive 1 hour and 41 minutes ahead of runner-up Azer Mirtagavi. Despite improving his time with three minutes and taking a step up on the podium from 2023, he had nothing on Arsenova. Not only did she become the champion of Kazakhstan, her time was also new personal record, which in turn made her the second woman ever to make it into the Top 10 smokers of all time, after Poland’s Klaudia Ide. She’s currently in 8th place.  Third place went to Lyazzat Takhmetova at 1 hour 33 minutes and 48 seconds.

1.     Anastasya Arsenova 3:24:11 2.     Azer Mirtagavi 1:43:20 3.     Lyazzat Takhmetova 1:33:48
