Yesterday (February 22nd, 2018), the official qualification tournament for the Cigar Smoking World Championship (CSWC) 2018 took place in the Almirante Hotel, Santiago.

Yesterday (February 22nd, 2018), the official qualification tournament for the Cigar Smoking World Championship (CSWC) 2018 took place in the Almirante Hotel, Santiago de los Caballeros (Dominican Republic).

34 cigar passionados started the slowest race on earth, eight contestants passed the one hour mark.
The winner is from Beirut, Lebanon: Wadih El-Ghoussoubi nicknamed Woody Ghsoubi. 1:30:54 was the winning time.
Christian Hutson from Springfield, Missouri, USA won the second place. The third place went to Jamaica, to Anthony Feurtado.
