Canada’s Plain Packaging Threat – Sign the Petition By Sept. 6, 2018

If Canada’s Bill S-5 is allowed to pass, all tobacco products shall be standardized with a single color, type-face, and packaging.
Plain Packaging Canada
If Canada’s Bill S-5 is allowed to pass, Plain & Standardized Packaging (PSP) for all tobacco products (including premium cigars) will become a reality in Canada. Under the proposed new law, all tobacco products shall be standardized with a single color, type-face, and packaging. Action is needed immediately if you don’t want this to happen. Exempting Premium Cigars from Plain & Standardized Packaging has still a few days to be heard, the consultation period ends on September 6, 2018! An initiative called the Better Cigar Plan is pushing to adopt the British model for PSP, which would exempt premium cigars. They started a petition (bettercigarplan.ca) asking supporters to sign. The petition and comments must be submitted before Sept. 6, 2018. Watch this explanatory video.
