Only a handpicked group of journalists were allowed to taste this cigar exclusively. It will not be presented at the gala dinner on the last evening of the festival as usual, but could only be tasted today, Sunday 17th of February.
If you want to smoke it, you have to dig deep into your pocket and buy the Trinidad 50th anniversary humidor at the auction… The cigar is the first “figurado” of the brand (ring gauge 59 by 155mm). This new cigar will come in a limited serie of 100 humidors carrying 50 sticks each celebrating the 50th anniversary of the brand. Tasting promoted by Habanos for journalists at the Hotel Packard at Havana for the Habanos Festival.
