Founded in 2018, on the market since 2019 and already represented in 19 countries: Lampert Cigars was one of the exciting interviewees at InterTabac 2022.
“For us, this was a very intense show and it was enormously important to have our own booth and show presence,” explains and Stefan Lampert when we visit him at his booth on the last and somewhat quieter day of the fair.
The environmental lawyer, himself a passionate cigar smoker, originally produced private label cigars only for his customers, but they were very quickly so well received that there was a demand for sales.
Lampert, a “doer” par execellence, quickly got deep into cigars, found three carefully selected production facilities in Nicaragua, Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic, and has since been successfully producing the Ocean Breeze, Lampert 1675 and Lampert 1593 lines with rapidly increasing sales.
Since 2021, the company has been supplementing the portfolio with a rum to go with cigars.
At InterTabac, owner Lampert presented the newest family member, the Edición Oscura, a Toro with a wrapper from Mexico (San Andrés), a binder from Indonesia and filler tobaccos from the Dominican Republic – the result is a harmoniously full-bodied medium to strong cigar.
