The stage, or rather stages, is now set for the 2025 Cigar Smoking World Championship qualification circuit. This year Andorra is temporarily off the schedule, but with the addition of Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Finland, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Hungary, Hong Kong, China, Japan, Mauritius and Colombia, the number of participating countries are now up to 50. It’s roughly ten more than last year, and an astonishingly 25 percent of all the world countries.
With the addition of La Réunion last year and now Mauritius, the competition is present in all the continents besides Antarctica. It starts in Denmark and Armenia on May 1 and wraps up in Estonia on August 16, two weeks before the grand final.
