We all know that you should never judge a book by its cover, but rather by its contents. However, when both are extraordinary — as with Oscar Valladares’ newest cigar, “The Oscar” – why, then it joins our Top 25 list. The Oscar cigars are enveloped in a candela sleeve and come eleven to a pack, bundled in an old cigar mold instead of in a box. The Oscar is available in three formats: Robusto, Toro and 6 x 60. The smooth, full-bodied Robusto took us by storm.
Tasting notes: „At the start, cocoa, fruity and cinnamon sweetness with bitter almond and cedary aromas, the scent of bread, a delicate pepperiness and spice. A gentle, full-bodied taste, delicately salty; in addition, espresso and woody notes. Medium+.“
