Up in the far northern part of the Dallas area lies the modern suburb of McKinney. Right off of Highway 380 you can find the spectacular new cigar spot called the Viso Cigar Lounge. Father, Mother and son Chris, Jenn and Austin Meyer have developed the perfect ambiance for enjoying a great cigar while chatting with great folks who love the leaf.
The name Viso obviously comes from the upper second quarter of the tobacco plant. They chose this name because they have three partners of family in the ownership of the lounge of which Austin is the youngest. In just a span of two years, Viso has managed to acquire a clientele that rivals shops that have been around for decades. Friendliness and camaraderie are the overriding themes of this sanctuary from the world.
When events are taking place at Viso, make sure you make your way to the back of the bar to enjoy some complimentary Viso-fashioneds. Chris makes them with his proprietary recipe and stores them in a barrel on the bar. Grab a rocks glass and a nice block of ice and pour yourself a treat to pair with your cigar and drink and smoke yourself into a new dimension of relaxation!
